About Records & Forms Management (Student Records)
Student Records Center (SRC) is the central records center for all of the Leon County Public Schools. It is also the forms management center for all forms initiated through Leon County Schools. Our goal is to serve our schools and the public in a very timely manner with professionalism, efficiency and integrity.
 
You may reach us between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., excluding holidays; Monday - Friday. Our telephone number is 850.487.7374.  The mailing address is: Student Records, 520 S. How to obtain a Transcript & School Records
Transcripts:

Transcripts may be obtained from the student folder at the school for up to 3 fiscal years after graduation. After this time period, transcripts may be obtained through the Student Records Center (SRC).

Information Needed To Obtain Transcripts

Last Name (maiden) if applicable
First Name
DOB
Social Security Number
Valid Driver's License or State Issued Identification
School Year Graduated or Withdrawn
School
Daytime Telephone
Appropriate Fees (see fee schedule below)
If student would like a certified copy to be sent to a college or university, the student must provide the name and address of the institution.

 
Fee Schedule
Official Certified Copy of Transcript ..................... $2.00 each
Unofficial Transcript ........................................... $1.00 each
School Records (name and or age verification)...... $3.00 each

Method of Payments : Cash or Money Order
(Make Money Order payable to Leon County Schools)
 
*Note: A transcript can not be obtain by anyone else if the
           student is over the age of 18 without written

Withdrawn Students
Withdrawn Students:
 
If a student has withdrawn from any of the Leon County Public Schools, the record should be forwarded within 10 days of the withdrawal date to the Student Records Center (SRC). If there is a request accompanying the folder, attached the request to the front of the folder and send immediately. Please, do not hold this request. Time is of the essence.
 
Handling Graduates Folders
Graduates
 
If a student has graduated, the records should remain at the school for 3 fiscal years. At the end of the fiscal year, it should be sent to the Student Records Center (SRC). Prior to sending, the cum folders should be prepared for scanning as follows:
 
1. Documents need to be rearranged in folders to provide a
    uniform setup.

2. ALL staples, pins, gem clips and any other fasteners must
    be removed.

3. ALL torn and worn documents must be reconditioned,
    crumpled and dog edged documents must be smoothed out.

4. Remove ALL ESE and other envelopes.

5. ALL duplicated materials must be removed; especially ESE
    Information.

6. Remove all information from the Test Card (blue card)

7. Tear the card apart, be careful not to tear the testing 
    information.

8. All Transcripts must be signed and dated by the appropriate
    school official.
